Stone Age.

Remember to mine stone. Put two villagers right before you upgrade to Tool.

Tool Age.

Play defensively and try to collect the 800 food quickly so you can go to Bronze.

Remember to research towers and put up a few towers in places that can easily be attacked.

Get the 100 food battle-axe upgrade in the barracks even if you're not going to build axemen.

Build two or three additional barracks before going to Bronze. Don't forget to mine gold.

Bronze Age.

Get the Short Swordsman research right after the Bronze Age upgrade is completed.

Once that research is over, upgrade to Broad Swordsman right way. Contiune to make swordsmen in the other barracks. Just click on the barracks and press "s".

If you want to protect your swordsmen against archers, make calvary. The only thing that'll worry you probably would be hoplites. The only thing you can do against hoplites would be to convert them with priests.

Speaking of priests, you'll need to build a temple so you can research Fanaticism in the Iron Age. You'll need it eventually.

Iron Age.

The Long Swordsmen and Legions have +80 hit points which makes them significantly stonger.

Upgrade to Long Swordsman right when the Iron Age upgrade is done.

Stock up on food and gold so you can pay the 1400 food and 600 gold upgrade to Legions. Remember to get Fanaticism at the Temple first.

Once you get legions, make swarms and swarms of them!! It'll be interesting if the unit limit were set to 200. :)

Watch out for Centurions. One Centurion and take out two Choson legions 1 on 2. Use your cheap priests to convert the Centurions.

The biggest advantage of the Legions is that you get an awesone unit at only 35 food and 15 gold.

Shang, Babylonian, Assyrian.

Choson is a strong tribe when the unit limit is set to 200 or when resources are scarce on the map.
