Disclaimer : These pranks listed in this section are not meant to hurt other people's feelings or to give them a very hard time. I'm not responsible for the outcomes if you decide to do anything here. I highly recommend that you don't use your default Internet screename in IRC : EFnet (#aoe) or in AOE itself!!!

1. Intentional Lagging. This will work if you have a modem. First, go to your Win95 control pannel and open your modem properties. Choose your modem and select "Properties" and set the "Maximum Speed" to like 2400bps or less. Then connect to your ISP. You may have trouble connecting to IRC but be patient. Then join the #aoe channel and join a game where the IP is reported. If you're able to join, then you'll REALLY lag the game.

2. Where's the Game?? Go in the #aoe channel in IRC and report a game at a fake IP address. Report something like 204.211.21.69 NOT 788.544.343.298 which is out of the range of IP addresses. People will try to join still but they'll try in vain. It's kinda funny to see people complain about not being able to join those games.

3. Online Singing. In the AOE Multiplayer chatroom, try typing out and spewing some verses of your favorite song. If you don't know the lyrics to it, it's kinda easy to search for them via the Net. If you're lucky, then people may sing along with you!! :)
