Starcraft Maps.
Click on the map to download. You may have to right click and select "Save As." Also, it's possible to configure your browser so that it'll launch the Starcraft map editor instantaneously after download and open the map. If this is the case, remember to save it after looking at it.
THE Maze.
If you've seen my War2 page,
then this map would probably be familiar. It's based on an old PUD I made decades ago. :) The map
is 128x128 and supports up to 4 players. One interesting thing you can do is wall your opponent in
on this map!! Build lots of Bunkers, Photon Cannons, Spore Colonies, or Sunken Colonies till they
cut your opponent off!! They cannot break through the numerous walls here!! They must depend on
fliers for attacking and getting troops out.
SpaceX.
This is another remake of
an old War2 map, RiverX. It looks, feels, and plays basically the same as that map. (Only it's Starcraft.)
This map supports 8 players and is 256x256.
3ers.
Yes, yes. The starting locations
of this map aren't equal. But that's the whole point of the map!! One spot is good for rushing; one spot is
good for defense; one spot is good for air attacks. Don't play this map with 2 players! Play with 3.
If it turns out that having a specific location is too advantageous, then I don't know what to say.
A zerg at the left spot, a protoss at the bottom, or a terran at the top right will all pose to be
extremely advantageous. Have fun!!
Tic-Tac-Toe of Anarchy.
I named this map
"Tic-Tac-Toe" just because it's divided and organized into nine squares. 8 of the squares are players'
starting locations and the middle square is for a gathering location. However, every starting location
has one opening to the middle and two to adjacent squares. Since this map has tons of resources, it should
be played with 8 players.
Non-Standard Maps. |
The following maps should be played with "Use Map Settings" NOT Melee, Free for All, One on One, etc. They don't count on your record, but they may be a lot of fun to play with.
The Ultimate Sacrifice.
This isn't a standard Battle.net map, and you'll
have to play "Use Map Settings". Any games played on this map won't count on your record. Anyways, you get zerglings continuously
throughout the game around your bunker, and your mission is to kill your opponents' bunkers. You can sacrifice a zergling at
the beacon with the flag to get a marine. Sacrifice the marine at the next beacon for a mutalisk... and so on. You can put the marines
in the bunker, but it's also wise to exchange them for mutalisks and the mutalisks for even more
advanced units.
FFA Celebrity Madness.
Some of you probably have seen the original
"FFA Firebat Madness" SCM on Bnet. This map is simply that map with some minor but humorous modifications to it.
If you can't wait to see, then just simply download it!
Shopping for Death.
This map is simply another
more enhanced version of "Firebat Madness". You get minerals for kills, and you can buy better units with the minerals.
There's a "shop" that sealed off from the battlefield; your invincible zerglings do the actual purchasing of units in
the shop.
I'll be adding more maps in the future so please come back! Feel free to pass these around on Battle.net
