1. MTUspeed. : This program really can speed up your Internet connection whether you have a 2400 bps modem or a T3. Better speed means lower latency and less lag for everyone in your game. (BTW, don't even try playing Starcraft over the Internet with a modem slower than 19200 bps even with this!! It'll still be annoyingly slow.)

2. Win95 Service Pack 1. : If you have version 4.00.950 of Win95, then download this!! To find out what version of Win95 you have, right click on My Computer and select "Properties".

3. Nuke Fix. : Some hackers on Battle.net take advantage of this bug and try to crash your computer. Don't let that happen!! Get this patch!!

4. CD-Quick. : This program can use up to 128 MB of your hard drive space to cache your CD-ROM drive. Highly recommended if you're CD-ROM drive is 10X and slower.

6. CPUBoost. : Program claims to speed your CPU by around 60 to 100 percent. However, it actually seems like 6 to 10 percent. Try it out if you're curious.
